Hi Christo,

Do you have this drawing in better quality? I ask because I think that the chassis of the E50 from Roco should fit. If the length I can read on the drawing is 19500mm then they have a difference in length with the E50 of 10mm...so nothing. Moreover they seem to have the same bogie architecture though it would need new sideframes and a body....it is worth lookin into that because the E50 from roco is price new at around 100-120 euros.

OK Andreas, here is another drawing. Very interesting what you say. I was once shown a hand made model that Vangelis (Alpha Trains) made using the chassis of German electric BR151. He said then that the bogies were identical but I never checked it out.

Hi Christo,

I checked a little bit on the net. the chassis of the 150 and 151 is almost identical in dimensions so I think you can use either (although the 150 has spoked wheels, which causes trouble since the siemens hat disc ones). What is differnt is that the bogie pivoting points of the Siemens sit 500mm more to the cabs than the 150 and 151. You have 2 options there...either you built a new chassis or you live with that. The only optical impact that you will have is probably the proporsiontions of the fuel tank.

Hi everyone,

Interesting to see the Jung topic developing again!

I was wondering if it would be possible for one of the Greece-based friends to post one or two close pictures of the bogie of this locomotive; most of the existing pix are showing the locomotive in a 'trois-quart' portrait, with the bogies either masked by the platforms or viewed from a distance...

This documentation item would greatly facilitate any modeling project.
