ViTrains have this models, but with different compositions
the small footplate we must make from etched brass.

Nice find Andy. The boggies although not exactly the same are really convincing. An the under-frame as well.
Here are some photos to compare with the model. The overall length between the buffers is 20m.

Here's the old Klein Modellbahn item - pretty close but the buffers need replacing and the spring hanger brackets on the bogies aren't quite right but close enough, I think. You'd need to move the destination label holder, too. Not sure of all the Klein Refs, but mine is 5121, shown on the box as an ÖBB wagon but with an SNCF one inside, and this was bought new! It's a nice model, though. Time for a repaint, methinks!

Hi Tim,

can you take a picture of the underneath of the wagon? I am intersted in the reinforcing strut construction.

Cheers

Tim, how long is the Klein model, does it correspond at the 20m of the original?

I'd like also to know the same thing about the Vitrains model from Andy.

Hi Andreas, here it is, I'll send you a larger file separately

Panagiotis - the wagon is 20m long over the buffers, spot-on.
