Greek Stations Diagrams & Plans

I see you are expanding your modeling field! I'll have to take care not to get any O scale ''disease''

About the place, I would prefer something ''exotic'' from the North, like Gazoros, Fotolivos or Paranesti, I especially like the combination of stone and wood buildings of these stations.
Or it could be Kalindia, another good looking station building with some unique features.

A station that also serves a variety of freight, like fuel, coal, sugar bits etc would be the best choice.

Paranesti seems good although it took a look to Platania....hm...it will need some trackplans. This time its going to be full scale

Andreas there was a time that SFS in Athens used to share free (through theit web site) info, including track plans of stations. And then came the next step in their club evolution and there is nothing free any more. Maybe someone downloaded them before they went off line and is willing to share.

christo.

BTW Platania looks an excellent choice. Anything JSC will do for me.

I was looking some photographs and I have to say that also Strymonas is a good catch. It combines a lot but it will also be difficult to represent in 0 gauge. The interesting thing is the crossing behing the station. What would interest me if anybody had a track plan and maybe how it looked like in the 50s and 60s. I know...difficult questions but slowly were are getting there.

Cheers

George,

I have seen better ones printed, but your handwritten one has moved me. Well done! You earned a lot of kudos points.

Note that I edited the post before with the newer version of the diagram.

And, although I am not a modeller, I strongly believe that this station is an ideal station to model, as it combines everything.
