Hi boys, I need some help.
As we know these locos had kept their original blue scheme till the late 80's.
According to most of the photos the OSE logos and lettering was painted in yellow color.
Though in some of them, the lettering seems to be in white or silver.
Do you know if that's right or the photos were over-exposed?
Were they white or silver?

You might be right, BUT,
As we see at Niek Opdam's photos they had received OSE logos as soon as OSE was founded
I suppose that initially were white and became later yellow as this happened with the passenger wagons too.
What do you think?

Actually, the situation was a little more complex.

During the SEK years, the A300s didn't have stencilled logos other than the front number as it appears on the A302 museum loco; the SEK logo was on a cast plate on the loco side.
Later, they did receive a stencilled OSE logo in white, which they kept during an important period in the 70s. During the late 'blue' years, that is, until the unfortunate decision to paint all diesels in orange, they received a yellow, stencilled, OSE logo. This occurred during the late 70s.
I will post a pic of an A300 taken in 1977 at Rodopolis with a white OSE logo (I am now away, but will post it as soon as I return back home)

Thank you all for your answers. I think Iossif has confirmed what I had supposed. Logos and numbering were white since first OSE days and became yellow later at some point.
Many of them retained their original blue livery till the late 80's.
Most probably some of them had kept their white numbering till mid 80's too and the photos of the period come to assure that.

Actually, they have not just used a yellow paint instead of the white; they changed the stencils completely.
The stencil used for the yellow logo and numbers was smaller, and had slim connecting pads, hence the breaks in the logo.
I have never seen the painting procedure, but it is highly probable that for the white logo and Nos they were not using any stencil at all; just masking, as we did during our first attempts in modeling these locos!!!

When exactly was the orange paint introduced in all American locos?
