I have no problem with the 'poetic license' as far as it is clearly presented as such...
In fact I plan to build an A271 loco soon. They were eight of them, 271-278 in a Ganz-Mavag or Craiova (not decided yet) look alike livery

Christo, I know that some members of this forum offer painting services to HMC. They paint everything, from trains to military vehicles telephone boxes etc, and they earn some money in this difficult for Greece period. The one that I have in my mind is a very good modeller and friend of mine, and I know that he is very logical when the subject is the price. This is not a bad thing. I do it too to finance my modell plans and desires. But I never sell fakes, although trere are many willing and desperated guys here in Athens to buy everything which wears an OSE insignia.
As far as who exactly paints these poetic objects, a physical person or Maerklin, doesn't matter me. Big modell companies aren't so innocent sometimes.
But I suspect that they being painted here in Athens judging from their appearance. To be definetelly sure, I should buy one of them, but I don't have money for that. HMC could give some clarifications concernig this.
And something last. I am modeller, not collector
