Prototype and Model Freight Loads in Greece

Nice project Andy!

Theses "curious containers" above are called "pa" (porteur aménagé) or Grossbehälter/Mittelcontainer. Invented by the Netherlands in the 1940-Years, that system was based on common standards. To transport it, it was needed to modify flatcars with rails and holding spindles.
The exactly same container in the SEK-pictures above was also used in Switzerland and Netherland. In 1:87, tese are available by Artitec: http://www.artitecshop.com/de/satz-3-geschlossene-containers-ns.html
Lather, the greek-built ones are different in shape. I have explored some of it with BarpaP in Rentis. Last year, i spent a day of research in the SBB-Archives. From theses "NL"-Type, there is unfortunatly no information. So i have begun with designing the next generation of pa-flatcars from 1962, similar to DB BTmms 58 or the OSE-Flatcar.

Andy, great job that loaded wagon!

Some questions about that:

Could you post us the wagon reference? Is there any model with that old OBB-not the "S" one- logos?

How much is every load you put on the wagon, in orden to value the conversión?

Regards

BarpaP, i have it expressed not exactly. In the picture is the SBB Lbs from 1962, that looks a bit familiar to the Φ1 wagon. For the Φ1 wagon, i have not enough informations how i should design it. One possibility is to modify a Brawa BTmms 58.

I think we should explore this year again the Rentis-Area for take some measurements :)

We should indeed arrange a gathering with the participation of all our friends this year.
Maybe some important event would be a good opportunity, a good reason... something like a Wedding for example
