From Nestor Lappas at the GREEK NARROW GAUGE RAILWAYS' page, he posted that pictures in which you can see some french SNCF coaches and they talked about them in Larissa bound to Athens for an exhibition in the 90s

because of the baggage wagon, Δπρτ 1048 if I see it right, and the passenger coaches at the foreground, I upload it here.
though have a look at all those brand new freight wagons!!!

the vans seems to be the 1926 Ringhoffer class, Ζ,Ζτ 7001-8000
the two at the left read Zτ 7537 and 7539

the open wagons I think are M 16153 and M 16021, are the also the 1926 Ringhoffer series? (latter N2)

The luggage van is 2-axled, Δκμτ 1048 built by De Dietrich in 1895, for J.S.C.

The open wagons are not Ringhoffers, but older ones.

M 16021 was built for C.O. by Duesseldorfer - Eisenbahnbedarf Carl Weyer & Co. Duesseldorf- Oberbilk in 1908, originally, as part of series Ks 6301-6321.

An amazing photo BarbaP and in very good (modelling) resolution. I thought I had seen something similar... and then I found it.

Photo from the magazine Railway wonders of the world part 40. November 1935. But it might even be the same photographer.

Reading the picture's text, which one would be the secound city in Greece, due to its impontance?

What intrigues me is the second and the third coach of the composition. I would say that these are prussian 3 axle compartment coaches....but how did these get to Greece in 1926? Maybe the war reparations included with the P8 of KPEV also had passenger coaches?

You can also see a Type R (probably) CIWL sleeper in the back, and a railway crane....highly interesting stuff. I will take a closer look at home tonight.

Yes I spotted the crane next to the flat wagon with a single wheel set on. The CIWL carriage seems to be damaged in the corner. Possibly done as a result of not sufficient clearance near the point of the crossover. I also noticed the SOM shed and the other one behind it.

Another thing spotted are the Kinley Gas lamps (with the curly bit at the top), which were positioned between line 4 and line 5. The first one is visible in both photos. The second one is faintly visible among the trees in the background. The fitting of these lamps took place between 1907 and 1910. About half a dozen are marked in a copy of an old map.

These (taller than telegraph poles) lamps were suspended by wire and they were easily lowered or lifted to position.

Hi AEG_DMU,

not Greek....from the colours I would say the Russian Velaro....OSE tends to use other pictures that from their own rolling stock...
