Dear sir Panos

Yesterday, he was a Mister, today a Sir. He must have friends in high places  .

PS. I will add the proof confirming this V60 livery in the waiting list after Tillig's VEB carriages ;) .

Actually,

I found yesterday a photo by chance. A-119 shunting in Athens in 1975 and the markings are Elfenbein (not yellow).   I also thought that the locos only had white ones.

I've seen a A 119 photo that the stripes look to be of white but the OSE logo seems to be painted in white too...
I think, at some point variations like that have probably existed but they are definitely the exception.

For example, I have spotted that white ΟΣΕ logo only at the A-125 (at the front only), A-128 and probably A-111 as I can't surely tell from the photo

I have posted a couple of A-128 photos at Lianokladi before but here is a shot from Thessaloniki shed on May 07, 1996 photo: Kevin Moore from http://www.phantasrail.com/greece_diesel_%284%29.htm
the logo was white even 20 years ago!

Also note that at some point several of the Krupps looked like being painted in grey :D
that was the result of some faulty batch of red paint that had very soon been faded to grey!!!

I still think that those models are a bit of a disappointment... :(
unless one is willing to repaint them, but then there is the ESU model that with 40 Euros more offers also the smoke generator...

Good morning, apreciate members

Here we can see the V60 Krupp shunter as A-124 in Salonica classification yards, in september 2009. It carried the old 'winged' OSE logo.

The loco was in working condition but not working that day. I'll explain as part of the story later on.

BalkanExpress, dreaming he could get one of those ROCO shunters for his yard
