The UIC-brake-releαsers (Lösezüge) are installed, and the wagon is 100% complete!

Concerning the:

2./ DB (ex - Deutsche Bundesbahn), Epoche IV, Hochbordwagen, Bauart: Eaos106 (1991) [Offenerwagen des Regelbauarts] bogies Υ25 of the welded type [geschweißte Ausführung]

1./ 1 x handrail (Griffstange) was corrected (green-arrows) and ends of buffers were brown-painted (yellow-arrows) on wagon-end-1.


2./ ends of buffers were brown-painted (yellow-arrows) on wagon-end-2.


3./ Anchors (Seilanker) changed according to prototype (final-pic, blue-arrow). However, only on wagon-end-1 (blue-arrows), while in wagon-end-2 the ends were destroyed during corrections (blue-arrows), so I have to re-buy them. Also, destination-boards (Zettelhalter) were painted to the wagons brown-color (green-arrows).

- In those, the measurements of the hanger welded on the main-horizontal beam of the chassis (Langträger), are only for the Ψ3 (blue-arrow). This changes in other wagons.
-The measurements of the hanger made by steel-wire (red-arrows) are the same for 90% of UIC-cars, including Eaos-ones.

The following have been done:
a./ UIC-brake-releasers (Bremslösezüge) added (green-arrows).
b./ Main-levers of brake-system (Umstellvorrichtungen der Bremsanlage) added (yellow-arrows).

Note. On 1st photo of the brake-releasers (top-view), the white arrows show that the brake-cylinder (Bremszylinder) is the wrong-one for this wagon, as all Eaos wagons due to that are constructed according to UIC, they have KE Bremsanlage (Knorr Bremsanlage mit Einheitsrichtung 1955), and not Hik- ones (Hilderbrand-Knorr Bremsanlage 1935), which was before UIC was created, so the cylinder would be like that one on the prototype Eaos-v (Ι8, Romania 1979) of ΟΣΕ. However, there are 2 type either 12'' (Zoll) in length / or 14'' (Zoll) in length. I have to take the length-measurements, as for the Eaos high-sides freight cars, the length would be the same.

To complete the wagon, the following must be installed:
1./ UIC-steps on one side of the chassis, where the handrails of the bodyshell are as per prototype.
2./ The brake-cylinder (Bremszylinder) with the 2 x balancers (Bremsgestänge) at its sides on the brake-ssytem as per prototype. The brake-cylinder is of the type KE (Knorr Bremsanlage mit Einheitsrichtung) of 1955, which many UIC- freight wagons have, i.e. Eaos, Rilns, etc..

Working suspension of the refrigerator wagon Ibblps397 of the DB LIMA HO (1990):

- Suspension is a etched nickel/silver kit that I produced and can be used with RP25 Codes: 88 (finescale), 110, 64 (Proto: 87.1)
- For suspension with the nickel/silver carriers, I used 0,25mm springiness steel guitar-wire
- Wheelsets BA88 920mm (10,57mm in HO), P87.1
- Brake triangles, HANDMADE from 0,3 & 0,5 mm brass-wires
- Vertical balancers from HOfine
- Triangle protectors from Udo Böhnlein

Concerning again the:

2./ SNCF, Epoche IV, Bauart: TGV Sud-Est, orange, LIMA HO (1983), from starter-set.

- exact sprung-buffers with modified buffer-plates from AMF 87 (France)
- modified distance of original exact coupling from WEIMANN (Germany)
- wagon-tubes (Gummischlaüche) from WEINERT (Germany), 9470
- modified air-hoses from WEINERT (Germany), 8293

Wheelsets will be bought from LE CLUB PROTO87 (France), dia.: 920mm = 10,50mm in HO. However, I would have to assemble the wheels to the axles with a wheel-puller I have. This will take a lot to be exact on the back-to-back wheel-distance.

Cables, I 'll see how I will make them.

1./ I changed the "Hangers" of the Lösezüge with the correct HANDMADE ring ones out of 0,2mm - brass-wire:

2./ I changed the Zettelhalter with the correct ones, such as 1 part to be mobile.

5./ The coupling-pockets are of the UIC Edition 4 for freight wagon from H0fine, also for some passenger wagons:



6./ The buffer types are of high-tension (Hochleistungspuffer) with plates with screws and end-force of 59t Endkraft from WEIMANN HO.
