The new Ultrascale replacement wheels were fitted to A471. The extensive test run, this morning, over my dodgy point work  was very successful :D . Balkan Models will be supplying these wheel sets exclusively, though the price has not yet been fixed.

Thinner wheel, finer profile and there are NO rubber tyres.

Are those the same wheels for the Eurosprinter locomotives?

No they are different. Different backs for electric pick ups and different cogs for gears.

I have at present a number of orders but I would need to finalize the amount of sets required, so please let me know if anyone else wants a set.

Α478 with old logo, Art.Nr. 13003, P87-upgrade to bufferplank, almost finished:

1./ UIC-High-tension sprung-buffers (Hochleistungspuffer mit rechtekigem geschweißtem Puffertellern), Bufferplate-sizes: 340x550mm in prototype [=42,5x6,322mm in HO], Bufferlength in prototype: 620mm [=7,126mm in HO] (green-arrows).
2./ UIC-screw-couplers (yellow-arrows). The distance between the bufferplate-ends & the hook-ends measured for both-sides-exactly: 3,9mm = 3,9mm of P87-standards. I used a little stiffer-spring, instead of the WEINERT-one, which is softer.

Note-1. The airbrake-hoses will be added, when I create their hangers (red-arrows). However, I need to take measurements.

Note-2. The rest of the parts, i.e. snowplough, etc., will be added when the P87-parts will be completed.

The wheel-dia.: 1100mm = 12,644mm in HO. If this is wrong, let me know, before the P87-wheelsets created. Also, I will make the gears from brass, for not having any problems in Wear&Tear.

Α478 with old logo, Art.Nr. 13003, screw-couplers + sprung-buffers operational on code-100-rail of my 1997-modul:

- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G6QG1PeaR-w

Note 1. The curve decided to be used as minimum, will be 80m in protoype = 919mm in HO, for the screw-couplers + sprung-buffers to be 100% operational.

Note 2. When the modul-2, will be finished with the 80m-curve, the couplings will be tested on it.
