Hello, Balkan express!

Sleepingcars type S 3432 to 3455 were built for Turkey , as the turkish CIWL rolling stock.

These cars served in Asia Minor in 30s on the "Taurus Express", Istambul Haydarpasa-Mossoul and Istambul Haydarpasa-Tripoli. And on the "Anatolie Express", Istambul Haydarpasa-Ankara and Ankara-Izmir...
Later, they served also on Istambul Haydarpasa- Ankara- Diyarbakir, Istambul Haydarpasa-Ankara-Samsun, Ankara-Zonduldak and Istambul Haydarpasa-Konya-Adana.

So it seems that these cars, built only for asia minor service, have never been engaged on great european express running to Bosphorus via Greece...
