Yes, for me it surely says "ΘΜ" there ... but it looks like it has been edited - added on the photo. The photo looks far more blurry there..

OK boys, I have solved the mystery of the ΘΜ logo we were talking about starting on page 2

as I have mentioned the photo was found at Θεόδωρος Μεταλληνός (Theodoros Metallinos) fb page https://www.facebook.com/theodoros.meta ... fref=photo
I'll say it again Mr Metallinos has collected some great old photos there! You can see the ΘΜ logo on some more of them too

Yes Christo and BarbaPanagos, I am pretty shore that is one of the CIWL WR wagons.

You know, before WWII there were about 20 CIWL dinning cars stationed in Yugoslavia and some of them where used as part of AP-PA on the route Niš - Thessaloniki.
But if the picture we talking about was taken in Lamia station and CIWL dinning car from Yugoslavia were in use only from Niš to Thessaloniki,
the question is if some of CIWL dinning cars were stationed in Greece and used on the route Thessaloniki - Athens?

One more interesting question is which wagon is that wagon behind the CIWL, which class?
I wonder if it can be SEK 2./3.kl (or it is only 3.kl?) as I have seen on some pictures from 20´s-30´s?

The adjoining carriage seems to me to be one of the Familleureux Coaches (see topic).

Photo French Ministry of Culture showing 2 carriages converted around WWI to Ambulance cars constructed by Ringhoffer. The order to Ringhoffer was a joint one between StEG, MAV, SZD, BDZ and CO. So the question is what happened to these two. SEK inherited 4 CO carriages very similar to them but not the same. Where is Tim, Andreas, Pierre, when you need them?

On the RailSerbia forum I found info that those wagons belonged to the train of the HRM King of Serbia (on that time).
The wagons were transformed to medical wagons to help the wounded soldiers in WWI.
