Could this Lima wagon be used for conversion? Some details are missing, e.g. the hand brake wheels, but the main measurements are correct, also the "fishbelly" and the position of the stakes - at least to my eyes

the spacing of the stakes looks right and if the dimensions match I think you can build an N6 out of it!

anyway, I would ask you to forget my previous post:
Although the Lima wagon is also representing an UIC standard type with 18,50m loading area and 19,90m between buffers, I think I have a better suggestion.
The Fleischmann 5287 Res type flatbed is easy to get, it has the same dimensions, the distance between the stakes also seems to be correct, the side walls can easily be removed, the frontal walls need a little modification at the upper corners, the short stakes (which at the original hold the side walls) must be cut off, the plates below the platform must be cut smaller, and finally some details must be added, especially the hand brake wheels and one step.

The wagon was produced by "old" Lima, Ref.No. was 302852. I changed the german bogies with Y25 bogies from a Rivarossi Rs type flatbed. Yes this was possible even before the "union" under the roof of Hornby. "New" Rivarossi has some similar DB R(g)s flatbeds, Ref.No 6164, but neither position of the stakes is not suitable (it is like the Klioleidis N6), nor the frontal walls.
The Fleischmann Res, Ref.No. 5287, was produced in large numbers, so it is easier to get, and second-hand it's cheaper than the Rivarossi Rs.

I must check it Panos. The only problem with HAG is that it is really expensive.

I think I have the conctruction plan of the N6 1979 on my hard disk....I need to check.
