so I scanned some photos from my early 90s films

we should comment the rest

a battered red Mercedes just behind the truck, a VW pick up, a red FIAT 127 or is it a ZASTAVA?
the white van looks to be French (?) while the white car at the bottom right most probably is some Eastern European or old Japan type (MAZDA ?)...

You forgot the typical roof rack on the white car. I had one of those on my Talbot which I came to Greece from England. And I lived to tell the tail.

The van looks like a FIAT 900T

The white car is probably a Moskvich ...
