Today after Spain and Portugal I would like to add a bonus picture...I know its not a train but a mean of Trasportation...I hope Christo will excuse me for that or we can open a topic for planespotting....

DSC_7586.JPG
Swiss International Airlines A340-313 HB-JML "Stans" taking off for its journey on the 3rd of August 2014 from Rwy 28 at Zurich International. I flew the very airframe on the 2nd of May 2014 coming back from SFO (San Fransisco) in a flight time of about 10:45 (9300 km). The A340 is a magnificent plane!!!!!!

Cheers

A little bit less of OT:

This week, the very active Swiss Association DSF (based in the loco-shed at Koblenz) hauls a service train from Degersheim to Stein-Säckingen. The goal was to bring four passenger carriages to the scrapyard at Stein-Säckingen. The green EMU is one of two BDe 4/4 buying 1997 from the Oensingen-Balsthal-Bahn (OeBB), former SBB (EMU build 1952). This EMU is the once in service at a private company and its for service duties. I to have the pleasure to ride as an guest from St.Gallen-St.Fiden to Winterthur in the engineer cab.
The first picture shows the train on the bridge in Herisau (Appenzell), the second picture are my conversions of the OeBB-version, based of the model from HAG (1:87).
