nice shots these at Serres Christo, I hope to shoot over there some day soon.

and the Empty Station Contest goes on

just a year ago, jonmood and I, had our first photo-excursion at Amfiklia. on the way back we made some stops at Tithorea, Davlia, Aliartos and Thiva
so far so good, but we didn't know that OSE had announced an operation halt starting at 10:00 am
we only had the chance to shoot a southbound IC at Aliartos...

at the left as we face the station, there is this small bunker built by the Germans, still bearing it's original Panzer I turret

OK we are going to Milies tomorrow, I told Memnon so we need a car. It was 9th August 1999. The next morning at 6.00 we set off from Nea Plagia (Chalkidiki) in a neighbours car for Volos. We got at Milies at 9.05. We had a lemonade at the hotel next to the station which was just opening. Up on a shelf on the wall was aLGB train of what looked like the VM 2-6-0 with a couple of carriages. We paid and went out towards the station.
