Hello.

About the SNCF TA60 automobile-transport wagon, 2 wires were added each side (that were missing) for the raising/lowering of the upper deck. Now, it's 100% ready.

Very nice potographs Christo. I have many - about 40-45 photos from my trip from England to Greece by train in 2002 - and I have thiw amount of pics from the station of Gare Du Bercy in June 2002. I have to scan them first, and then load them here.

Kind Regards

Last parts added on my etched brass TA60 SNCF

Postby Dimitris » Fri Mar 07, 2014 2:53 pm

Hello.

I have added the last parts on my etched brass 2-axled automobile transport wagon of the SNCF, Epoche III. These are the levers (Verbindungsgestänge) - out of etched nickel/silver connected with the main levers (Umstellvorrichtung), which connect the following:

1./ The first one (red arrow) with the distributor (Steuerventil).
2./ The second one (blue arrow) with the lever -"empty / loaded" (leer/beladen).
3./ The third one (purple arrow) with the lever (Bremshebel) of the brake-cylinder (Bremszylinder).

The wagon now is complete - 100%.

As I mentioned, I won't paint it, or add any decals, as I prefer, the brass color. However, when plastic models are upgraded either by finescale / and or P87 standards, then the parts added (either operational / and or fine/ and or exact), needed to be painted. I agree with this.

Thanx

Dimitris

P.S. I will post a sketch of the model with the last parts I have mentioned from Gerard HUET.
