I love MLW high-hood Pnagioti, but they "cut" their noses.....

the original high nose is my favorite too, but both MLWs are successfully refurbished and I like their new paint scheme too

Some of the A450s had their nose chopped off and double glazing fitted. As far as I know it was A461 and A468. Were there any others? Maybe Andreas will tell us when he has a moment.

It's always a pleasure to see all these old photos in their original scheme!
but even today, the presence of an MLW, makes worth my visit at the station
if there is no one around, something is missing, no matter how many Adtranz, MAN2000, GTW or AEG will come and go!
only a good bunch of freight would make me as happy
