I'm probably out of step with everyone else and this may offend some, but I'm heartily glad to see these things scrapped and burnt out - good riddance to all of them. Noisy, smelly, uncomfortable junk! And the same goes for the metre gauge ones, too.

That's true - built by the mile, chopped off by the yard!

I've never traveled with this one but I had the chance to do so a couple times with the meter gauge one.
It was a fantastic trip, smoker's seats, opening windows, although the fumes from the exhaust were coming in through them now and then
I really love this DMU, and if I had to choose only one model to have, that would be it!

some interior shots from the bar at Amphiklia for everyone who would like to add some detail to the great Balkanmodels model

As I was asked by Christo to give some information to this forum as well about my bogies for the Ganz DMU and anything else I have produced, here are some photos and information. For most of you old news, as I have already posted everything at Amnizia.

For comparison, two photos, one of the DMU with the supplied bogie, and one with the one I can supply, painted blue and weathered a bit:

The bogies are supplied without axles (they are supposed to replace the ones supplied from Roco). They are correct in scale and axle distance, but since the couplings have to be adjusted for them to be able to rotate (parts of the couplings are in the way), they concern only modelers with modification abilities. The cost is of course unfortunately considerable, since the potential customers are very-very few. That of course applies to the model as well, so I suppose it's understandable.

Thanks TEE11.5.
It is good that you joined us since I beleive that everyone should speak for themselves. I take it that you are a new business venture. So please start a new topic, if you like, in the links section and introduce your company, email, website, prices, availability etc. We allow everyone to tout for business in this forum since competition drives everyone's standards up.

One observation though. The photo of the BalkanModels (Roco) driving bogie you loaded is misleading because the Halling motor bogie in the photo looks like it has been altered and does not resemble the way it was sold by me. I attach the following photos to show you what I mean.

Christo, I am not a business venture. There are many reasons why I shouldn't even become one. The best way to describe me is a private initiative that tries to fill some gaps, so prices and availability only upon request.

I stand corrected on the photo of your driving bogie, I have moved one of the driving axles. It is an opportunity to mention that your Halling bogie allows the placement of the driving axles at both the axle distance of the Roco sideframe, as well as the correct distance of the sideframe I provide, very easily indeed, without any alterations or modifications. I took the photo as I had done just that. I had no intention to mislead the audience,my apologies if I did.
