This is very good news, I can finally give up trying to build one from a collection of bits and pieces and have a decent model. I'll post a few pictures of the junkers at Rentis tomorrow.

Sorry for the quality. I was fast that day, as they didn't let us much time for taking photos. :cry:

I will go again to take more pics, as I love this loco.

Thanx

@BalkanExpress:

Do you know, if the company: http://www.miniaturaslacalle.es/, will produce again the Caterpillar - all out of brass, so that it may be converted to the greek one? As I read from your posts, they are out of this model for a long time.

Thanx in advance,

Dimitris

The second project are the A.223 like i see at Lianokladi in the year 2000. Base model is Mabar #81501, RENFE 10836 in period III. Unfortunately this model (prototype produced in license by Babcok & Wilcox) have many differents to the GE-standard-type. Following modifications are performed until today: Shift the ligths lower in front, modifying the hatchs at the side, remove two brakes at every side, other shape for the olitank and an new paint in orange.

The A.223 is now nearly finished, exept the lettering:

A lot of modifications was needed at the chassis:
- Modification of the shape for the oil-tank
- Remove 1 brake cylinder from every bogie side, add a support for the antishock.
- Connect the two brakes with a bar
- Other shape for the walkway end at front
- At buffer beam: Replace the hoses, new buffer plates, new shape of plough, modification of hook plate.

At the right side, add a section for the handrail was needed.

The picture shows the parts before the painting.
