My EKW49 DB USATC, with:

- USATC exact buffers
- USATC couplings
- shunting handrails with modified ends

I have the measurements of the handrails of the tank as well as the steps on the chassis, such as to make them, too.

Also, I have 33'' wheels P87.1 on 2mm -axles with 25,78mm - length from N.W.S.L. USA. What I 'll do, is that I'll remove with a wheel-puller the NEM wheels from the 2mm, 23,8mm existing axles and assemble the P87.1 wheels by removing them from the 25,78mm axles first.

The same with the wheel puller for the EKW49: I removed the 33'' - wheels from the 25,78mm - N.W.S.L. axles and then I assembled them on the 23,8mm - existing KLEIN MODELLBAHN axles. 1 x 23,8mm KLEIN MODELLBAHN axle was worn, so I bought 2 x ROCO 23,8mm axles and I assembled the existing wheels on it. I tested it in the track, and it was OK.

Some new photos, as the abload.de doesn't work anymore.

I corrected the "bars" / "ομφαλοί φορείων" with 0,5mm, such as to hold the bogies. I tested it on the track, and rolled OK.

Hi Dimitries,
Well done I like it very well!
The idea to hold the boogies with a wire is great. That will be came up to mine one!

Guten Abend Manfred,

I used brass sprung bogies before and destroyed the "bars" a little, so I came up to this solution that was correct.

Thank you very much for your nice words!
