Romanian built wagons 1968

Both Photos Balkanmodels: April 1990 SOM shed Thessaloniki. This is wagon 787 5 120-8. The wagon at the front is a Romanian 1974 but I will open another topic for this one.

34 tank wagons built by UZINA MECANICA TIMISOARA, RUMANIA, 1968.

Yes, right christo.... i forgot the second series because of the different builder. :mrgreen:

Barba-Panagos would say that this second series (31 73 786 5 101-115) is also built by TIMISOARA.... but no :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

These are 49 wagons... and their old numbering was P7 31 73 729 9 101-150 so ... one wagon was destroyed or something simillar before the new numbering was given. :?

Is this Albert Modell product suitable for those type of Ose Tank cars?
For me looks simmilar.

that's most interesting!

because of the bogies it looks more like the 1974 tank viewtopic.php?f=13&t=93

the chassis looks a bit different but the tank looks pretty close
if dimensions are right it could make an OSE tank with some work

Albert has more bogies so we can change wich looks more identical. Can You draw me on a picture the differences of chassis?
I talked with Albert I meet him every second weekend on Budapest railway modell börse. Some things they can modify to modell. The only problem is we have to find an investitor because they make modells only if they can sell 80-100 to a shop or investitor. :(
