Were the OBB schlierenwagen used for international trains to Greece?

christo.

No, Christo. The OBB Schlierewagen were mainly used for domestic/regional traffic with authorisation for Switzerland, Germany and Italy (depending on car series and equipment), although as I can remember, they were seen here in Croatia (Pula), as a part of an agency train a long time ago.

I also remember an ABp car type was used in 80's on route Innsbruck-Zurich (train Beograd-Zurich Ex).

Sky, unfortunately not, but i think the Railtop coaches was
in the 90s in Austria only on regional trains, it was the last years before the retirement.

The model is alternative, for the not available correct coaches

Christo, the ÖBB Schlierenwagen was principle a "Regional Train car",
but between circa 2005-2009 runs this Cars as EU-Regio Train from Vienna/Wien Süd-Ost to Györ/Hungary,

and i think it was 2009, many cars runs leased for the "Spring Jam Party train" from Vienna - Koper.

Now runs the cars by GYSEV and Railway of Kosovo.

Did they get there through Serbia, or through Thessaloniki?

In the early 90's those carriages were still seen here in Croatia, but as you wrote it was their last decade.

Here is a photo of the train D410 in 2005. with an OBB couchette (source http://www.blockstelle.de Nikos Papaletsos):
