This baggage van seems to be a UIC-X serie as DB one and the RENFE's 8000 serie. They all came from the same design patterns.
But, undoubtly it looks like an european baggage van with acordeon pleats adapted for intercomuncations, RENFE didn't sold those 8000 van to Cuba as I know. They were the previous serie, RENFE's 5000 serie, a main passenger serie from the 40s which were recovered nearly from scrap, refurbished and painted as seen for example in this picture (pale blue with yellow stripes for Cuba and the green one, as usual in Europe in those days, a RENFE original one)
Those cars never arrived to the island due to a lack of agreement although they were refurbished...Third car in the row in the first picture I've asked for seems more to be like that. I don't know if any single car arrived as prototipe...I'll tell you
