I have taken some shots of a piece of 0.3mm Nickel Siler strip to dry run some of the platforms. Apart from the incorrect positions of the bogies,

we also have other difficulties:

Ok then:
1. Pink lines indicate that the inner side of the platform would have to be drawn to take account the various moulded details of the wagon. POSSIBLE
2a. Blue lines indicate that a cut out in the middle of the platform is needed to accomodate the bulkhead when it is lowered in the flat position. That will considerably weaken the platform if the material used is thinner than 0.3mm. POSSIBLE
2b. Alternatively use 0.2mm metal which will make the steps look better but the platform more unstable. POSSIBLE.
3a. Yellow lines indicate the moulded detail of the bulkhead that will need to be filed off and removed. POSSIBLE
3b. Alternatively make an un prototypical cut out in the platform. POSSIBLE
4. Red lines are the biggest (and most visual) problem. Make two complete cut outs in the platform. This will change the platform from one solid piece to three separate ones. POSSIBLE
4a. Alternatively file off the bulkhead supports completely. You could also replace them with 2 short lengths of H section rod, plastic or metal. POSSIBLE.
I have already stated in the other topic
viewtopic.php?f=13&t=153&start=10 that I would consider this project if there is enough interest. I have at present orders from Andy only. It would be nice to hear from others.
a, if they want some
b, some responses to the choices mentioned above.
