about that time, actually a couple months ago...

a privately owned Willys jeep at Mykonos, August 1990. Despite the color, not a former GA vehicle, this specific type never served with the Greek Army.

you're right Christo, an old good DS!!! she should have been almost 20 years old by 1990!

It was a common practice for our parents to keep their rides for many years! My father kept his first car, a 1966 FIAT 124 till 1992!!!
Since then an Alfa Sud, a 2nd gen Lancia Delta and (currently) an Opel Astra, have served him, but now and then he recalls that old good 124.
Especially when time for a maintenance service is close. He used to change a lot of parts at that FIAT on his own, but later car engines became too cramped and complicate!!!

you're right Christo. As I said, my dad wasn't the only one with a taste towards ''antiques'', it was a common practice till the early 90's.
