Photo Balkanmodels: September 2000 a MAN DMU passes at speed under the footbridge outside the Carriage Shed Thessaloniki. Note that it now sports a small Aircon unit on the roof for the comfort of the crew.

They are (rarely) still in use on some lines such as Alexandroupoli - Dikea, Thessaloniki - Edessa and Larissa - Volos...

Photo Balkanmodels: April 1993 an unidentified double MAN unit at NES Thessaloniki. Note the work being carried out in the adjoining line. All lines were realigned and re ballasted during that time.

Photo Balkanmodels: August 1993 anothe double MAN unit approaching NES Thessaloniki by the Carriage Shed footbridge. Further reballasting leading into the station is in evidence. Also note that AirCon units are yet to be fitted on the roofs.

All numbers now available in HO. Each packet contains waterslide transfers for pairs 701/702..... to 723/724. You can model either old logo OSE or new logo OSE. Prices available on the website.

Two of the four motor bogies that I am currently preparing for a friend.

With a little more filling, filing, fine detailing and weathering, one could probably achieve better results than me.

and far less £££ than 3d prints. Painting and staining the face of the wheels will also improve the looks without losing electric pick up capability.

Yes BarbaPanagos what you say is true. And as I said many times already this kit started life as a basic kit but then different modelling demands begun to arrive. If I did it again I would have designed everything up from the beginning.
