A friend has written to me recently about approaching Ultrascale and asking them to consider wheel and gear replacements for the Adtranz. Apparently these locos suffer in the same way as the Electrotren Hellasprinters, but it will be best if he was to post in here what was the problem he experienced.

These are the Ultrascale replacements. I will need to try them in one of my locos and test how they work. But after this week because I am a little busy.

Hi Christo,

fascinating development. If the project goes on write me down for 5 sets. This will save me the reprofilling of the wheels to RP25 and the look much better.
