BarbaP,
One of the aims for adding a forum to my website was so that I could share photos and information with everyone. No members only, squeeze the third knuckle and all that, but everything accessible to all. However, the truth is that I have now posted most of my photos on. There are only very few left. I am not complaining, though it is disheartening how few contributors we have, but I am pondering the fact that the forum may have outlived my original aim.

I read this a couple of days ago and I was thinking if I should answer or not. Well here are my two cents. Is it disheartening? Yes it is....but so what? I feel here comfortable and we will always be very few people Christo. This is a fact! To tell you the truth this forum has been for me a good reference source for matters that interest me. I am not anymore interested what is happening everyday in the greek railway as the situtation is dishearting. Furthermore I concentrate myself only on modelling. After much thought I decided yesterday that I will stop posting and also visiting Amnizia. No offence against the admins and mods of Amnizia but for me the level of information that I get and the atmosphere there have long vanished for me, although for a number of years I was systems administrator there. There have been a few bright young people there that I praise (like Jason) but most of it has taken a false twist in there. I guess this is the circle of life.

So, Christo, keep up the work and this forum and cut the B@llsh@t. I know you people from Thesaloniki...you are always whining

Cheers

Andreas don't forget they are vindictive also  . Did you want me to make you some SEK O gauge plates?

The truth is according to guests visiting, we are doing alright. We have about 500 visitors per week from all sort of weird and wonderful places. Some even read these pages through translators. Anyhow, thanks for the encouragement. Like yourself, modelling is also at the centre of my interests. From there I enthuse about photos, history, anecdotes, buses, planes, vehicles, buildings, etc. to mention but a few.

no wonder why, it's been 30 years since PAOK won the last football Championship

I agree with Andreas that we aren't that many and we'll probably never be, we might this way avoid some relevant problems...
at the end it's obvious that I have fun in here, together with most of my modeling friends and I've made some new friends too!!! ;)

to get the topic back to normal, some shots for all my friends and our regular visitors...
It was last Tuesday (18/11) near dusk when I met 220 027 shunting some slide walls at Rouf

For those friends who were not born in Greece I have to point out that people from Athens and the South always speak Greek with a funny (to us northern ears) dialect  and that is why they confuse some of their consonants phonetically

But we love them all the same

Oinoi railway station, 06.12.2014.

220 025, get fed with petrol for transporting some stakes-flat freight cars with Y25 bogies.
