Unfortunately my model plates are brass while the prototype plates are aluminium. There was no silver looking material down to the required thickness so I had to produce them in brass. However they have been drawn from the original as accurately as practicable.

In those days I did not know that one needed a permit to enter railway installations in Greece. So I turned up at the Engine Shed in Salonica and I was promptly turned away. Having a poor camera but with film I thought of trying to get something from the adjoining park but there was a disadvantageous height differential.

Thank you for this rare video of one good season. Because for many years before the line that changed manually and this made her work for many years my father. Now this line changes electronically from the station of Edessa
The photo below is from that part of the video that was taken.
Located outside the Edessa station and called by train Railman ''Klidouhio''

A-367 eastbound on train 602 from Athina - Dikea 15 2 1990 by Phil Locos Photos.
Attribute the ALSTHOM with large front fascia An unwritten rule of the time was that ALSTHOM when traveling on the route Thessaloniki - Dikea went almost always with the big front , while returning normal ( having small front fascia ) and this because ALSTHOM had a control and could be driven with the same ease and upside down and because the vast majority of stations from Thessaloniki to the Dikea was on the left side of the direction , drivers prefer to drive on the left side and be under the direct supervision embarkation and disembarkation of passengers as well as the signals of stationmaster at numerous parking route.
