Here is another pic of A403 waiting in Athens Larissa Station back in August 1981.

For those of you who might be tempted to think the engine was waiting for its train, sorry, the engine had broken down and was waiting for a free shunter to take it back to the MAI...

They are indeed mine; I was a young student then, and spent much of my time at Larissa Station (instead of studying hard...). Obviously I did other things as well ...

Times have changed though...

thanks Iossif, I was a frequent of the area for some years in the 80s, attending the faculty at Iera Odos
though unfortunately, I was doing only the ''other'' things...

times do have changed indeed. for almost 15 years I was that busy that I had no time shooting trains. Thanks to our great politicians my work schedule is considerably lighter now, so i have some free time to spend for my hobbies...
