I see in the photo that there were only 8 engines constructed. Numbers 7731-8. No one mentioned which one was the Greek example.

OK I now have information from eye witness written records.

SEK A.51 was 7738.

Yes. At her last years withdrawn, the SEK - OSE number may had been faded , so it is commonly referred to as "7738" .

That was noted in 1971 when it was still at M.A.I. (Rentis) depot.

My source states that he saw the same engine in Rentis in 1961. So it spent at least a decade in disuse.
