A251 - A261 Ganz Mavag

My Ganz Mavag A261 MTB HO digital & sound,the chassis with the decoder.




I 'll use the R8214 Elite Digital Controller HORNBY for the digital-function.

In the following photos, sprung-buffers & coupling are ready. I have also to install air-hoses & electric-cables at the sides.






Shunting-handrails from 0.3mm - brass wire HANDMADE.


The wheels will be changed with P87-ones, 1040mm - dia. = 11,954mm in HO.

I installed the wheel-radius = 1040mm in prototype = 11,95mm in HO, HOpur / P87 wheelsets. The motion of the locomotive is excellent!

I have to install the air-brake hoses the electric-cables and install the body-shell and then test it as digital.

I just did a first test with Z21 Multimaus from ROCO 10833. The results are excellent! I forgot to hit the horn, sorry!! Also I pushed the STOP-button at the end by mistake and the loco stopped suddenly, sorry for this!

The only parts that have to be added to the buffer-beam, are the following:

- electric cables from CN-MODELL HO

- air-hoses 8290 from WEINERT HO

- air-hoses 8293 from WEINERT HO

I just did the second-test of the locomotive + the GOSA wagon of ΟΣΕ. Unfortuntely, I couldn't turn-on the interior-lighting of the wagon, as I tried several times using the addresses: 3, 5, 50 with the same CV1 and didn't work.
