Hellas-Express

Hi all,

As I wrote in the other tread I create my own train station Athen Larissa and Depot Rentis.
In Corona Lockdown I switch my Layout from Austrian to Greek Layout.

Before I create a frame that comes down from the ceiling.
The frame itself have a size of 6,2 to 1,35m and where split up in single modules with birch plywood of 19mm

My Lightning tube made out of LED Strips and


Addin an existing Turntable layout to my frames.
need to be Adaped to the Rentis Depot, Also need to be removable as the unit goes up there is no place for it.

My shedy station not really in the shadow. Is is in Front of the layout

And here my track plan Like I want to go. In case no track plan software can do Atlas and Roco turnout Boogies i do it with hand and the rest will be placed on the surface area.

On question against the grassing. As I heard from Miniaturbahn Wunderland that they had trouble at the airport with the leds after they grass they where killed.
You See that I have my electronic around 6 cm under the xps plats. Would you unplug the moduls if you grass on the top?

Your layout is quite large.
Especially the construction with the wire ropes is impressive, but so are your trains.
I can't wait to see her progress!
As for your question, I am not the right person to answer you because of my inexperience.

You know Size is not Everything but I want to do the Yugoslavia Express, Attika, Hellas- and Orient Express in the hole maximum length that runs in Germany.

I am very glad because we have common interests!
I also want to do Hellas, Attika and Acropolis express but as they ran in Greece, that is a little smaller and I have collected some wagons and engines that participated in these trains.

Not only he layout size is huge but the elevating system is extremely useful!
