The long awaited BRAWA model has been released. When it appeared at the erail site I placed immediately my order! https://www.erail.gr/shop/brawa-50126-c ... epoch-iii/

Having a second look I noticed that something was unfortunately wrong!!! :(

The model wasn't exactly what BRAWA had announced!

The Door METAL PLATE was missing!!!!!!!

Despite my disappointment, the model is so fine that I decided to give it a try.....

Some minor surgery first to remove the door details.
The plastic is white and can be treated easily.

I then made some photo-etched parts to test the fit. Inspiration for that was Andy's 1966 Romanian built Z2 ;)

I hope you agree that first test was quite successful :D

I have already corrected the number of bolts, should be 16 and not 17, I have also corrected the door latch and added replacement rope anchors.
I'll show you the modifications when I'll have a new etch.

Hello,

I want to make two OSE Z3 Vans (Romania) for a relief train and wanted to ask if I can buy a set of your cover plates for the door from you. I know they are a bit different but unfortunately there are no others available.

Greetings

Thomas

Of course you can! I'm always pleased to help fellow modellers with their projects.
I'll send you a pm.
