With no doubt you are a great modeller but I think you should try 3D printing this one.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments. Sometime in the near future, I will start 3d printing, but for the time being I will go on making hand made collector's choice quality models. I will keep you informed!

thanks again for your nice comments. This Diesel locomotive, which by the way was converted and restored to being fully operational in Greece is a real artifact and the prototype and simultaneously the only unit in existance today, should be kept and preserved having this in mind. The condition in which is now, is indescribable beyond any imagination as is the case with most of the railway artifacts in Greece. Sometimes it gives me the impression that Greece is anticipating the "next top sugar daddy investor" to save such vehicles (implementing the known financing-"gear oiling"-turnover and profit procedures), as it has always been the case in the past decades. Anyway, through my HO models, I strongly support the idea of have a chance to preserve not the units themselves but at least a small fragment of history, by placing a milestone to it and this model is one of those. Because as someone in a film once said "We are crossing through history, but this ... this is history".
