10 units built in Hellenic Shipyards for OSE and the Peloponnese metre gauge network for intercity use.All preserved with one destroyed without the middle unit. They had both first and second class + bar.Top speed;120km/h but in Peloponnese 90km/h because of the sharp turns. They are in Rentis depot.

Actually, there was a plan to make AEG meter gauge railcars but it didn't continue,so these trains were bought.Like the meter gauge Adtranz and Bombardier locos that couldn't go southern than Pyrgos.....

This 1506 (so the other end maybe 6506???) MAN-4 IC DMU at Kalamata Station. This is on the first day that the IC08/09 "Iraklis" is running between Athens and Kalamata via Tripolis. I cannot exactly remember the date.....June of 1999??? 2000???? Maybe somebody can help.
Cheers
Andreas

I'm really confused with the numbering!!!
One end numbering was
6501-6510,mid car was
5501-5510 and the other end was
1501-1510is it so?

I took a look into my literature. According to the book "Schmalspubahnen in Griechenland" from Dr. Hans-Bernhard Schönborn the numberings were:
6501-10/5501-10/1501-10
If I remember correctly though after some major overhauls the got sometimes mixed up and you could find different numbers on them. Another feature was that the 65XX and 55XX had the drive motors (each 2xMAN V12 turbocharged with 513 HP) and the 15XX had the generator (Rabaman).
Cheers
