Hello there everyone,

Today we got a Web Hosting upgrade from 2GB up to 500GB space. This is for attachments such as pictures to be enabled. Therefore, I have now re-enabled attachments on the site, and there is no longer a need to upload to imageshack although you may continue to do so if you like.

Any problems with attachments then please let me know and I can fix this.

thank you very much for this convinience and for the quick realisation. It would be good to set though a maximum for the pictures f.e. maximum width 800px so that you can optimise the usage of the webspace.

Hi Andreas,

For the time being our thought is to keep the pictures in the original sizes to preserve quality and make use of the large bandwidth and space. The visual size of the pictures is set to 800px to keep a good browsing experience, clicking the picture will open the full image. However, in the future we may review this and limit/resize upon upload as you suggest.

I have to import all my photos into the forum server now!

Just to let you know that Kris has enabled uploading of pdf files and videos.
