Hello everyone,

It was a little over a week ago that I decided to end my days as a member of the Greek speaking forum of amnesia. I had been a member for years, since the beginning of the forum and contributed about 400 times mainly on modelling topics as well as provided rare information on historic matters.

A year ago I announced the possibility of a meter gauge MAN model. At the onset I began to receive personal attacks as a professional and attacks on my products calling them unacceptable, by a particular individual, who saw the Greek meter gauge modelling scene as the exclusive preserve of his future trading activities. I defended myself vigorously but every time I did so, the moderators removed my comments and left standing the offending comments left by him. This bias of the moderators led me to decide to leave that forum and start this one. When I left I took with me all my contributions on all topics.

Yesterday I was told by a friend that the Greek forum reinstated the majority of my posts and banned me from entering. It’s odd that they should want my comments but not me, isn’t it?

Christo,

I'll second Theo's comment!
Having seen all related posts ,it was clear to me that Amnizia worked as a "promo" site for certain members.
This behaviour of "explicit commercial activity" , forced me to do the same for "Project Neustadt" thread (I erased all comment and photos) two years ago ,when I realised what was really happening.Your reaction ,therefore,is purely understood!

Greetings form Greece,

Dimitris.

P.S.1) 1000 Euros for a totaly scratch built , small batch and unique model is rational.Expensive in total values but accepted.
P.S.2) 80 Euros for a low quality ,infinitively reproduced ,plaster, poorly built and off scale kit is also expensive (in relevant values) but unaccepted.

Hello Christo.
I am the admin from the Amnizia forum. The reason for registering, is to apologize for excluding you from that forum. It was my mistake and I didn't realize that till I read your post here, today.
Ι had removed you from the usergroups for a couple of minutes just to check some things regarding your deleted posts. I have recovered your posts but I forgot to join you again to the registered usergroup.
I think that you understand now as you are an admin, too.
My first mistake is that I forgot to remove the right of the users to remove their posts (as the reg agrrement says) and the second mistake is that I forgot to rejoin you as I allready said.
Unfortunatelly my engish are poor and I wish I could explain more clearly.
Anyway, you have now my email and you can contact me anytime.

Having seen all related posts ,it was clear to me that Amnizia worked as a "promo" site for certain members.

JimmyK , please think before you write man.

Hello Alsthom,

Thank you for joining us and for your apology. Your message is a welcome development to the saga. Hopefully we can now draw a line under the whole affair. All members including jimmy.k are entitled to express their views in a respectful manner. I believe this is what he did and there should be no recriminations towards him. Finally I would like to reiterate that though this forum is supported by balkanmodels, all individuals and traders are welcome.

Thank you Christo.
all individuals and traders are welcome.

This is what Amnizia does from the beginning and that's why I told JimmyK to think before he writes. No fights and no arguments! ;)
If a trader or a model maker writes in Amnizia or in this forum , does it mean that the forum works as a promo for him? I don't think so.
That's my opinion.
Anyway, you are not banned of course from Amnizia (you were banned by my mistake and as I said, I am sorry for that).
That' s all
I am wishing you all the best with your forum.
Best Regards
Elias
