Good night to all members
From Facebook's Greek Narrow Gauge Railways group, Nestor Lappas, posted some pictures from an article by the prestigious french 'La vie du rail' under the title L'Hellade. No idea when publishing was done.
Here is a picture of the Es 714???- LINKE HOFMANN 1925 in an autocoach service.
Perhaps somebody could solve the doubt about the numbering...
Regards

We are getting a little bit off topic, but:
Actually, the numbers of all Es locomotives of SPAP railway were the following:
Es 701-702 / A. BORSIG, BERLIN - TEGEL / 1912
Es 711-713 / A. BORSIG, BERLIN - TEGEL / 1914 (later 7711-7713)
Es 721-725 / LINKE HOFMANN WERKE BRESLAU / 1925 (later 7721-7725)
Es 726-728 / HENSCHEL UND SOHN, KASSEL / 1937 (later 7726-7728)
701 was destroyed in the 2nd World War, so, probably in order to avoid having gaps in the number sequence, 702 was renumbered to 714, later 7714.

Hi everyone,
Thanks for the additional info; it's very far from being off-topic, it could not be more in-topic
It would be very interesting to try to locate this pic in time; taking into account the generally good state of the loco, it's certainly in SPAP days during the late 50s, but do we (i.e. GAZKGK) know when the renumbering took place?
Thx,
Iossif

The renumbering, probably took place during the mid-1950s.
The photo was published in that magazine on 17/12/1961, so the photo was taken between 1959 (we have an Esslingen trailer) and 1961.
