That's interesting. How you conclude that the numbers are 9001-9080 ? :? ;)

What is the year of that document ??

I knew that this series was 9001-9048, but i had found a table with the tare of all SPAP freight cars, where it said that ''9001-9080''. I asked many people if they knew something and they didn't, so I though that it was probably a mistake.

And now, you, christo, come with a second proof that ''something has happened here''. Nice ! ;) ;) I m now thinking about the probable convertions of them.

So, the survivors (at least at their original form) are not many .

These five at Kalamata Railway Park ...

Plus this:

And 9032 at Markopoulo:

You can also see them to be indicated as ΣΚΣΤ, ΣΦΣΚ and Σ .

Built by AMERICAN CAR COMANY for the U.S.A.T.C. in 1943 with a plywood-body and came in Greece by U.N.R.R.A. in 1947. After some years the plywood was replaced at nearly all vans by the common wooden planks.

Here is the famous photo by A. Luft showing ΣΦΣΚ 9031 at Achladokambos.

Jason,

I edited the drawing above to the full version. Date shown is 1948.

Unknown number at Patra, as a hut for the station of Agios Andreas.

NOTE the original plywood body and the original plywood door (the doors were replaced with planked ones earlier than the body).
