Great photo, Christo!

Which cars are pulled by this Austerity?? I think they aren't BREDAs, are they?

BalkanExpress, I don't think so.
Anyhow, I can only see the first carriage behind the loco and it looks to be some kind of postal vehicle. SEK did not have these types in 1964 so it must have been a German, Austrian or some other European one.
Maybe somebody else knows more.

Hi to all,

Really interested in hear about those Steam Locomotives Lambda-Beta, in real 1:1 and models

And looking to this photo, could you help me to identify the coaches/wagons which are pulled by the loco?

Just posting on the available models of the WD Austerity 2-10-0

1) HO gauge model from DJH/Model Loco: Kit in brass and White metal. I don't know if it is still in production. Difficult to built but one of the good kits of DJH. I should receive mine next week finished....stay tuned...

2) OO gauge model from DJH/Model Loco: Same as above just in 00 gauge. I don't know if it is the same like the H0 gauge (sometimes in the UK HO scale models are marketed as OO f.e. Dapol Interfrigo reefer).....maybe christo can help us with that. The model is still in production.

3) 0 gauge model from Roxey Mouldings: Brass & new Silver model. All the cast parts are brass except for the boiler backhead which is white metal. Chassis of the loco in new silver. All the axles are sprung with hornblocks. Very impressive model with great detail. I received it 2 weeks ago and I will post some pictures from the kit....to be built in 2014....or at least start it... It is a big project....weight of the model about 3kg.... :o

Cheers
Andreas

The photograph caption in the book "Orient-Express", which is in German, reads:
Connecting train Athens Istanbul is led by British war department Lamda-beta followed by 2 goods wagons, 1 post wagon, 1 old four axle carriage for use by the Military, 1 two axle brake Van with a kitchen, and on that day 3 carriages (implied CIWL) from Pithyon to Alexandroupolis.
