Photo Trevor Rowe: Thessaloniki 1961 loco Δα53. From the Balkanmodels bought photos archive. Note that the brass number plate is placed on the cab and not on the tank. I thought that only the Δα locos that had their tanks removed carried their plates on the cab. Obviously this photo disproves this theory.

Just to say that the current batch of Δα plates in HO are selling out. Numbers remaining:

One set of 51, 62, 66, 69
Two sets of 52, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58, 59, 60, 63, 68
Three sets of 67

53, 61, 64, 65 and 70 are gone.

No it is not a mirage or a trick with mirrors. It is Δα61 greeting her sister Δα53.

PS. Did anyone try to pull the front hook off? It seems to be glued on and it will need to come off if one wants to use a functional coupling. Any suggestions?
