Photo Trevor Rowe: Alexandroupolis Shed 1965 loco Κβ833. From the Balkanmodels bought photos archive. Interesting tender in the background which looks like a two axle Bourbonnais tender.

He used to work for British Airways in the 60s so disposable income for cameras, films etc and a lot of travel opportunities ;)

But you can see that it's not exactly the same one (Andy's and christo's), you can compare it with the windows visible on the right of the loco..., so ... we can not exclude the case that there were 2 photographers there, that time . ;)

Or one photographer with two tripods, or one photographer with one tripod and two cameras, or...We will never know unless someone out there knows something.

From what I know TR travelled alone.

thanks guys, great photos.
assuming that color films and prints would cost quite more than B&W back in 1965, probably Mr Rowe was carrying a second camera to get some selective color photos too ;)

Κβ 821 --> destroyed during WW II
Κβ 822 --> withdrawn 30/04/1969, last G.R. 17/06/1966, in 1971 was reported that most parts are missing, scrapped at Thessaloniki freight station ~ 1984
Κβ 823 --> destroyed during WW II
Κβ 824 --> destroyed during WW II, here frame was found and scrapped in the 1970s.
Κβ 825 --> in 1969 "σε παραφυλακή" at Rentis, in 1971 reported as "Completely destroyed". Around 1973 transported to Amalia stock depot where she was scrapped. (last G.R. 26/03/1962).
Κβ 826 --> in 1969 "σε παραφυλακή" at Rentis, in 1971 was reported that many parts were missing, ~1973 transported to Amalia where she was scrapped (last G.R. 29/04/1964).
Κβ 827 --> withdrawn 18/01/1971 (last G.R. 31/03/1966), scrapped ~1984 at Thessaloniki's freight station.
Κβ 828 --> 1945-1948 at JDZ as 144-005
Κβ 829 --> in 1972 still working at Thessaloniki, scrapped ~1984 at the freight station.
