To make the conversion from the french one to the greek one, apart from the plates, what other thing do we need to change in this model?

The biggest visual addition is the window box extension. I considered producing it as a kit but judging by the number of number plates I sold, it might not be financially viable. Maybe erail $$$ will consider making it. Anyhow, I will scratch-build mine for now. I will also make some banker extension planks, and anything else I may observe as different.

according to Tim this one must be Δα63, http://hellas-express.eu/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=13
and the logo does indeed look to be painted on an improvised plate

Well, if I have to prepare a set of number plates I might as well prepare two.

No it is not a mirage or a trick with mirrors. It is Δα61 greeting her sister Δα53.

PS. Did anyone try to pull the front hook off? It seems to be glued on and it will need to come off if one wants to use a functional coupling. Any suggestions?

Actually is glued, but I took out by pulling it with a nose pliers, it was not difficult, but a little faded red color around the gluing point.

Actually, this Da has been used in the early 80s for a movie, together with Lg994 wich was still in a reasonable state. Sorry, I can't remember the title, but what I do remember is that in order to produce smoke, the producers stuffed the firebox with newspapers(...).

This brings another lovely memory: in older greek movies, the accuracy of displayed trains and other transportation means was not a top priority...

Hence, in an old patriotic movie (Vera Krouska - Kostas Prekas), the action of which took place during the occupation, a bright-red ALCO appeared in the station to take the partizans to the mountain.

Not to mention the classic 'Girls in the Sun' (Koritsia ston ilio), where at some point, a greek shepherd in love with a swedish girl comes from his remote island to Athens by train (A-200 + Breda coaches) ...

I will post the picture. I just need to scan it because I do not have it in electronic form. I will also inform about the conversions. I just need to finish a small project today on my WD 2-10-0 in 0 gauge and I will crack on the S100 from REE.
