There was a time when they used to run an evening post train between Athens and Salonica both direcetions, every evening. There was a time when Salonica station had no catenary wires. This was now 21 years ago.

New models announced by Brawa :

csm_50126_Original_03fc225306.png

Gedeckter Güterwagen Gze der MAV , Betriebsnummer: 103 154
Best.-Nr. 50126

50127_Original.png

Gedeckter Güterwagen Ggs "MC RIV" der MAV , Betriebsnummer: 22 55 149 4 049-6

We'll see if the real models have the reinforcements on the doors, and the other typical MÁV details.

My personal opinion is that this model fits 99.5% with the OSE Z2 Polish-built 1966 & 1967 plank body vans (21 73 131 0 000-299 Gs and 21 73 131 1 025-174 Gs respectively).
It is worth noting that this wagon is produced by Brawa in over 15 different versions. Why not a Greek one?
Could anyone contact Brawa and ask to include the Greek wagon in its production??

This is a great find! thanks Pierre!
Contrain is right, we can model the Polish Z2 vans with just a minor modification of the end beams above the hooks!
Note that they look identical to the Romanian vans that Andy has produced, only the roof is different.

We have just found a new project. All we need is a decal set and ask erail to order some models for us now that he is at Nuremberg :D

Stefane, I think you have to make some measurement of the real thing break post ;)

Pierre, I can see one that looks like ours at page 8 but I can't tell the models code number.
