I wouldn't expect such a comment from you Jason! :D at least this way you can remember all the places you have been.

Sometimes though even "boring" cars like these manage to surprise us. As I am actually not experienced at all with the on site spotting and identification and too lazy to learn something by heart, I usually try to do that later from the photos and the help of my notes.
I was a bit confused with the following vans, but with some help, I bet you guess from whom, I had a clue ;)

I had shot 21 73 154 3 362-6 at Tithorea among the numerous cars that lay over there, but then it was obvious even to me that something wrong was going on. It wasn't a plank body like the rest of the 21 73 154 3 000-399 class!
As you have guessed, I sent the photo to Jason who doing that self-check digit calculation, managed to find the right number and to give the almost obvious explanation. Unfortunately I didn't have discover something special, it was just some careless OSE employee who had replaced a 6 by a 3, at least he has done it right, applying it both on the side and door :D

21 73 154 3 662-6 Gbs (marked as 21 73 154 3 362-6), Tithorea 5 April 2013

21 73 154 3 662-6 (marked as 21 73 154 3 362-6) Gbs Τιθορέα 02.JPG

*** Theo, have you been there before me? :P

To make the long story short with the second one, I tend to forget that some of the wagons around had an older UIC number...

21 73 154 3 754-1 Gbs bears now its old number and classification 21 73 174 6 354-5 Gbrs on the side. Maybe the more recent paint and marks have faded and chipped revealing the older layers. At the end it is marked right, and at the frame too, although time has revealed some earlier layers there as well.

I quite like vans... guess that makes me boring, too. :D Anyway, I only seem to have one shot of this series to contribute, but just wait until we get to the Z5s!

And one 1974 Romanian wagon with a different door. The open car coupled next to it is registered with MAV.

The door is probably taken from a Belgian Z6.

Yes, right.
