OK guys, Christo made some admin magic and opened the topic using my post

we could use this topic just to make the "preproduction" arrangements, when we have the finished we could post photos and info at the respective post

let's see the projects we have proposed

1) the Z3 Vans 154 3 625-874 Romania 1974 viewtopic.php?f=13&t=78&start=10
Andreas is making the contact to have an OSE version

2) the Z6 Vans viewtopic.php?f=13&t=46 could be made as well

3) the Φ1 viewtopic.php?f=13&t=148&start=10
this is an ambitious project and will be great if we could materialize it ;) Andreas just get us organized

4) the N6 of 1966 viewtopic.php?f=13&t=118
I think this is one we can easily accomplice

Andy has spotted the right model and who has the Klein one could use it too.
We can have some models in a most attractive prise here http://treinshop.marnan.eu/vitrains-331 ... ongenwagen
there is also a two wagons set http://treinshop.marnan.eu/merken/schaa ... en-set-2st
as you can see they have many of them available and are plenty for all of us :D

I have contacted them and the post cost is 22.95 Euros, people who are close could share it.

we must only etch the shunting footplate over the one buffer side

5) OSE Σ1 Ballast Hoppers viewtopic.php?f=13&t=142
E. 20 73 600 6 582-611, converted in 1972 by ZELELIDIS. Ex- U.S.A.T.C. plywood-body vans.

Friends,

I am open to consider any wagon, loco, building etc. I can design 2d and/or 3d using metal etches, plastic parts, 3d printing etc. I can utilize market wheels, buffers etc. I can even work to exact customer specification. However I cannot do this work for free. I would be happy to quote for a minimum order of around 20 motive power units or 40 wagons, providing I can be supplied with drawings and photographs. In the past I used to be paid after completing my work, but regrettably times have now changed. Maybe my quality was poor, maybe my prices were high, maybe the money ran out. In any case most projects were mothballed due to lack of takers.

I guess if we calculate 30€ production cost per kit for 30 kits it should be ok. It can be a modelers project without companies involved....

Maybe Andreas' idea is a good one. With no profit to be calculated 30 euros/kit is reasonable. I would of course be happy to offer any encouragement and continue hosting your wonderful contributions in this forum for free.

Dear Christo,

this is by no means a way to replace Balkanmodels. It is just a way to realise some projects that are less attractive. What I would like is a possibility to revive this project somehow from your side.

Please let us discuss here if Balkanmodels can continue the work on that and how.

Cheers
Andreas

Andreas,

Olympus asked me a question and I clearly gave one answer and made one suggestion. Nothing more, nothing less. Please do not read something that is not there. I am grateful to you and everyone else in this forum for all contributions. Balkanmodels might adapt and change its markets but it will always continue making models while I am around.

I will open soon a new topic about the Excursion coach where I can share with you the difficulties. Meanwhile, I would like to inform everyone that I plan to sell the Gosa (Acme) and Poznan (Heris) carriages.

Please pm if you still find my position ambiguous.

Hello on all greek model friends

@Christo thank you for the information;
I think a etched brass kit from you (OSE Σ1 Ballast Hoppers) 20 73 600 6 582-611
for middle-end 2014 is realistic.
a block train with 10 models (10 kits) would be great :D
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MZSKfjhrXtc

I can only speak from me, so i have to time this projects;

Z2 Ggs
at the first November week i have available the 80 OSE Ggs,
I speak at 25 Oct. on the model-fair Vienna (Modellbaumesse) with Bela from Albertmodell
about new painting-letterings projects.

OSE I8 Eaos -
then i would like make the SNCF->OSE Eaos
(a greek friend Panos help me in the next time, he make a core-sketches for me / Albertmodell)

OSE caboose car
i have ordered yesterday this parts for my 3d printing sketch
http://www.wagenwerk.de/h0de/fahrzeugba ... emsen.html

so then a can make on the sketch from the footplate the height adjustment buffers-coupling-car house...

When the sketches are okay for shapeways
http://www.shapeways.com/

i speak with Bela from Albertmodell;
(my idea is a OSE caboose kit - only the 3d printing parts with Partslist; all numbers of Parts most brass from Weinert)
and i would like make by Albertmodell the painting/lettering on the caboose house
two model numbers with different roof color beige and gray (one number ~15 pieces)

equipment, i have made in the caboosehouse a little place for a car-decoder,
red LED on front and back side and interior light...
i must look, i think the Price (3printing parts and with all Weinert parts) is very high not under 80 Euro...
alone the brass axle holder when you see
http://www.wagenwerk.de/h0de/fahrzeugba ... emsen.html

OSE Rs-v N6, i have in my collection three models from Vitrains
and this conversion to OSE is not very difficult;

@Panagiotis/ BarbaPanagos can you make us all the letterings for this model?

@Christo can you etching for us the buffer footplate grid?
Image

Z3-Z6
a other interesting project is the idea from "Andreas"
with "Lokschlosserei" i have interest on more OSE kits but after christmas 2013
3-4 kits Z3
2-3 kits Z6

what do you think?

best regards Andy

Andy,

It is great to see so many modelling initiatives.

I could consider producing OSE Σ1 Ballast Hoppers KITS in etched brass around £50 each for a minimum of 40 pieces. The kits will include basic packaging and instructions but wheels, buffers and post will be extra. Delivery 3 months after payment

I wait for my Z2s anxiously, now that they have the correct roofs.

I would not get any I8 because I still have my Kleinbahn models.

The Arad Brake wagon / caboose will be too expensive for me. However, I understand your costing because I know how expensive 3d printing can be when I made the seats for the MAN railcar.

Finally from Andreas' proposals I would be interested in 1 or 2 Z6 kits.

Keep up the good work Andy, Andreas and All.

christo.

@Christo can you etching for us the buffer footplate grid?

yes I can but I would need a model so as to take accurate measurements.
