OSE I8 Open/Bogies wagons France 1967-1970

Both Photos Balkanmodels: May 2001. Two wagons from the same batch of 100 wagons from France 1970 outside the Railway Museum in Salonica. Note the different types of doors and the typical French Y bogies.

I had taken a whole film with details at that time, which I sent to Klein Modellbahn with a view of making a model. The model did appear later but it was exclusively sold by Diorama in Athens. I let you draw your own conclusions.

Very recently someone else enquired about that film but wanted it for free.

Series I8 31 73 532 0 001-100 - Eaos, built by A.N.F. BLANC - MISSERON CRESPIN - NORD in years 1967, 1968, 1969 and 1970 and bought by O.S.E. around 1988-1989. Many of them are still in use.

1968 - Some of the 1968 and nearly all of 1969 builder plates are destroyed - i don't know why, they are rusty and some of them are like ''exploded'' ... i tried to find some of the good ones

My next model project after the OSE Z2 Ggs
is the EAOS with the strips between the doors.

I found for 4-5 months at France a limited model from
Roco (only for France) with number 76803
the model is a basic Klein Modellbahn model with conversions
