Yes, they are "Χημική Εκχόρτωση" tanks, built by SOCOFER. TOURS FRANCE, type HD-20, numbers 20 73 950 0 001 & 002 (the second is at Thessaloniki).

I guess it is a convertion of a draisine cart ( / trailer Barbapanagos ) with a body constructed (as usually) by the TMK for some track maintenance / refurbishment (it sais "ΑΝΑΚΑΙΝΙΣΗ").

This is from the Railway Park of Kalamata, probably in the mid 80s when the exhibits were placed in this or the late 80's after the restoration of the park from its use as homeless encampment by the great earthquake of Kalamata 1986. Can you remember when you had visited Kalamata in the '80s?
This vehicle was running on meter gauge line of the Peloponnese.

I am sorry ConTrain I cannot remember the date. This photo was not taken by me but was given to me for my collection. I was told that it was taken in Volos so I am happy that you corrected the information. By the way I visited Kalamata three times, the last time being in 2000!

According to some OSE files, the 3-wheeler draisine (as they call her "τρίτροχη χειράμαξα μη επισκευάσιμη, άχρηστη") which is now at Kalamata's park, was still at Asprochoma (where it was found) in 1995 ...


Anyway ...

Here is one more strange thing at Tripoli (meter gauge, of course).

Apparently, a draisine cart converted to a χειράμαξα .
